Room was fairly spacious and comfortable. No sound carried through from other rooms. Comfortable mattress. Staff were quite friendly and helpful but not obtrusive.
Hot water bottle that was supposed to be available wasn't. Door stuck a little. Decor a little drab and some fittings a little dated but functional. Nothing major.

The courtyard view was wonderful. the location was perfect and excellent, so close to all major supermarkets, many eateries, and the brewery next door. - It was not too far from Ward Observatory. - the attached restaurant served a yummy breakfast. - the room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, and glassware.

Nice large room, walking distance to centre Whanganui and best of all....very pleasant and helpful front desk staff. I think we were upgraded from our standard studio room.... we had a large room in the hotel part...nice.

Staff were helpful. Room was very nice and comfortable. Enjoy our stay.
When we arrived the only place to eat was "mix club/bar" next door. It was good for watching the sport, but I think the food was a bit over priced. $26 for a Thai curry, which I think had just been reheated. However we were eating quite late.

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 1 night, nonetheless everything was wonderful. We got spotless standard studio with breakfast which was delicious as an upgrade, nice gesture. The location was great and handy, so close to everything. Besides, it was next to supermarkets and food outlets, main shopping area, and Kingsgate.

Handy to all facilities and amenities
Road noise and not enough ventilation. Found the heating too hot. Still we come from a very quiet area so I guess we are not used to noise during the night.

Had really nice stay in the lovely town of Whanganui with pleasant staff and favourable location in the newly decorated Restaurant. The rooms were immaculately clean and well heated here with the bedroom and a garden view, for instance.
